AEW has filed for two new trademarks for the Blackpool Combat Club.
On July 20, AEW filed for the name of “Blackpool Combat Club” and the logo for the group. Both terms are listed for merchandise and entertainment purposes.
The faction features Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli. The group is managed by William Regal. Here are the descriptions:
“The mark consists of the word "BLACKPOOL" above the words "COMBAT CLUB," with the words "COMBAT CLUB" displayed within brackets, and all of which is displayed in a stylized font.
Mark For: BLACKPOOL COMBAT CLUB trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of beanies; Hats; Hoodies; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts; T-shirts.
Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer”
Moxley is currently the interim AEW World Champion while Wheeler is the Ring of Honor Pure Champion, and Castagnoli just won the ROH World Title at Death Before Dishonor. Danielson will make his return to action on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
